Anyone else need a little #inspiration right now? Feeling a little *~*burnt out*~* from a whirlwind year of life and work? Do you want to think about your goals and plans for 2023 from a different perspective? I do. So I developed a workshop with my incredible friend Jeannie Sullivan and it's happening Tuesday, December 20th at the FemmeXColumbia co-working space on Richland Street in downtown Columbia, SC.
In 2016 I read a book that blew up my life in the best possible way - Danielle LaPorte's The Desire Map. It's about how to flip our perspective on goal-setting by focusing on how you want to FEEL instead of fixating on what you want to accomplish. Sounds un-strategic, huh? Sounds...silly, almost? Well it's not. It's genius. And it works. Thinking about my "core desired feelings" instead of measuring my worth in terms of achievements has been the best mental shift I've ever made.
Reaching my personal and professional goals has become a more joyful, fulfilling process - instead of feeling like a failure if I don't meet every expectation (of others AND myself), I am able to focus on the journey, be FLEXIBLE, and be open to opportunities. I make better decisions. It helps me practice being comfortable with imperfection. I like myself more and I have a SIGNIFICANTLY better relationship with work. I worry less about my worthiness. I feel confident and GROUNDED like I never have before.
In 2022, I wanted to feel more *creative*, *nurturing*, and *abundant* (among other things 💖). So it makes sense that I want to share this process with other people and make it fun, artistic, and community-focused. And the FemmeX space is completely perfect for the vibe we want to create.
This session will be a place for you to release any restrictions from 2022, dream big about the possibilities of 2023, and set aside time for YOU to decide how you want the next year to flow and feel.
